Grant Park and Pittsburgh Yards: Two Neighborhoods, One Standard
I've driven every route into Atlanta. I know which blocks are changing and which ones have been the same for thirty years. When it was time to pick locations for Ideal Barbers, I wasn't choosing real estate. I was choosing communities. Grant Park and Pittsburgh Yards aren't random. They're exactly where we're supposed to be.
Where are the Ideal Barbers locations in Atlanta?
Ideal Barbers has two locations: 519 Memorial Drive SE, Suite D-06, Shop 217 in Grant Park (a couple blocks from the Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail), and Pittsburgh Yards on University Avenue SW (steps from the BeltLine, easy access via I-75 South, under 10 minutes from Grant Park). Both locations are appointment-only with free or accessible parking.
Grant Park: Where It Started
519 Memorial Drive SE sits in the heart of Grant Park, one of Atlanta's oldest and most beloved intown neighborhoods. It's a five-minute drive from Cabbagetown, Reynoldstown, and East Atlanta Village, and well-positioned for professionals commuting from Decatur, East Atlanta, or midtown. This is the location that built the Ideal Barbers reputation, and it still runs by the same standard every client walks in expecting.
What to Know Before You Visit Grant Park
The shop is inside a mixed-use development. On-site parking is available, and street parking along Memorial Drive is accessible. The suite address is worth noting before you walk in: Suite D-06, Shop 217. First-timers who miss the suite number sometimes need a moment to orient. Arriving a few minutes early makes it seamless.
Pittsburgh Yards: A Second Location Built for Builders
Pittsburgh Yards is one of Atlanta's most ambitious community development projects, a mixed-use campus built for small businesses, entrepreneurs, and creatives on University Avenue. It's accessible via I-75 South, under 10 minutes from Grant Park, as well as from the Westside, Vine City, Mechanicsville, and downtown Atlanta. Bringing Ideal Barbers to Pittsburgh Yards was deliberate: the campus is designed for people who are building something, and so is the barbershop.
